Validation workshop: The impact of digital technology in early learning in Asia and the Pacific
Dr. Fauzan Ansyari, Praachi Kumar and Dr. Tatenda Zinyemba and advisors Prof. Dr. Wim Groot, Dr. Mindel van de Laar and Dr. Lili Wang, UNU-MERIT
About the webinar
Digital technology has become part of children’s lives and is likely to become more important in the years to come. Yet, we do not fully understand the impact it has on children aged between 3 and 5 years old. In this validation workshop, we will share the results of a study done on Asia and the Pacific by UNU-MERIT researchers in cooperation with UNESCO and UNICEF. We furthermore aim to validate the findings and explore the multifaceted implications of digital technology use in such an early learning context, together with researchers, educators, and policymakers.
